The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Oncology Researcher with expertise in biology associated with CAR -T cell engineering and experience testing these agents targeting specific pediatric cancer. The researcher will participate with a team of scientists and staff working to develop and test cellular therapy approaches to pediatric cancers, and collaborate with an outstanding group of pediatric oncology, health services and population sciences researchers on research projects related to cancer genetic predisposition syndromes and comparative oncology studies. The researcher is expected to develop independent research projects, publish scientific discoveries, and apply for extramural funding.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD with postdoctoral training in cellular therapy, laboratory research experience in Car-T cell translational projects, strong leadership and supervisory skills, and advanced analytical and writing skills. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor on the Research Track in the Department of Pediatrics.
