Job Title: Pharmacist

Duration: 4 months (Possible Extension)

Location: Remote

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00AM - 05:00PM) (PST)

Job Summary

  • The main function of a pharmacist is to dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions.
  • They also may conduct health and wellness screenings, provide immunizations, oversee the medications given to patients, and provide advice on healthy lifestyles.

Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):

  • Work with the PE Team to drive medication adherence for provider groups. This pharmacist will be responsible for meeting with provider groups to understand and transform (where needed) the work the group is doing for medication adherence, SUPD and/or SPC.
  • Pharmacist will perform outbound calls to members and providers for medication adherence/SUPD/SPC
  • Complete medication reviews
  • Provide consultations via phone
  • Data Entry on identified barriers and resolutions
  • Tell me about what their first day looks like:
  • Systems log in, taking required classes re: HIPAA, privacy, etc.
  • What previous job titles or background work will be in this role?
  • Must have previous experience as Pharmacist addressing medication adherence and care gaps
  • Experience working remotely

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (PharmD., M.S) in pharmacy. 3+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience or 1+ years of managed care pharmacy experience. Clinical pharmacy experience in managed healthcare preferred.

License/Certification

  • Current state’s Pharmacist license with no restrictions. An additional license may be required as needed.
