Description

Reviews and interprets physician orders to evaluate drug incompatibilities, allergies, appropriateness of therapy, including drug selection, dosage, and frequency of administration. Confers with the physicians and allied health personnel as necessary to resolve all questions and irregularities regarding physician orders.

Requirements

Bachelor or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from accredited school of Pharmacy

  • One year of Pharmacy experience
  • Hospital pharmacy experience
  • Computer and data entry skills
  • 2 years of pharmacy experience
