About The Role:
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Aequita Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, preparing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
WhatYou'll Do:
Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information
Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and well-maintained
Assist with administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims and handling payments
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective operations
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree preferred
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company
