Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Physical Commodity Trader. The Physical Commodity Trader will be responsible for executing trades, analyzing market trends, and managing trading risks. The Physical Commodity Trader will also develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and market participants, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and strategies.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a physical commodity trader or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of commodity markets and trading strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and risk management
  • Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in commodities trading and risk management are a plus
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
