Merritt Hawkins, the nation’s premier academic search firm, invites you to consider a rare opportunity to join the internationally renowned Diabetes & Metabolism Research Institute at City of Hope. We are seeking a physician investigator with previous experience and/or strong interest in developing and conducting investigator-initiated, FDA-approved Phase I and Phase II clinical trials in either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
A board certified or eligible, fellowship-trained Endocrinologist is highly preferred but other medical specialties with translational research experience will also be considered. This is an extraordinary opportunity to participate in the advancement of diabetes medicine.

Headed by Arthur D. Riggs, Ph.D., a pioneer in the field renowned for his work on synthesizing the first man-made gene and using synthetic genes to produce human insulin.
Home to a multidisciplinary team of endocrinologists, diabetes immunologists, stem cell biologists, geneticists, and other clinical and basic science investigators.
With three on-campus therapeutics manufacturing facilities, as well as a fourth in planning, a promising new idea can quickly go from concept all the way to patient trials.
