Planning Engineer

Allied Resources is looking for a Planning Engineer for an exciting Full-time opportunity with a multi-disciplined engineering firm. This position provides an excellent compensation, bonus potential, and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more!

A Day in the Life:

• Design distribution systems considering right-of-way, easements, permits, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct and plan short- and long-term system studies, including protection, coordination, and various distribution analyses.
• Lead technical and engineering planning services, interface with clients, and develop capital improvement plans.
• Provide market technology insights, budget estimates, and ongoing support for client projects.
• Manage project organization, financial analysis, client relationships, and stay updated on industry advancements.

The Wish List:

• P.E. is REQUIRED; or able to get one within next 6 months.
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of direct experience with an electric utility or a firm that provides services to electric utilities.
