Plant Controller

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Plant Controller role in the Triad area of North Carolina for a stable & profitable manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be “hands on” with a strong proficiency in Excel and previous operations accounting & reporting experience in the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on oversight of all financial control and plant accounting operations, including general and cost accounting, A/P, and A/R
• Prepare financial reports as well as cash and P&L forecasts
• Collaborate with management to set financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, forecasts, and reporting standards weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Provide management with comprehensive financial updates through evaluation, analysis, and reporting of relevant data.
• Recommend and implement programs to enhance productivity, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Support financial decisions by applying company policies to the current economic environment.
• Ensure consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local legal standards.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and workflow.
• Provide necessary support to external and internal auditors.
• Assist management with critical financial decisions and support the development of short and long-term operational strategies.
• Lead and support a team of 5 staff members.
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 4 years accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
• Supervisory experience
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented

Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
