We are excited to announce the opening of our new Technology headquarters in Mesa, Arizona in 2025. This expansion reflects our commitment to growth and innovation in the climate solutions industry. As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Plant Controller to join its team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer,you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the activities of the facility based in Arizona. The incumbent is responsible for the costing model that optimizes production costs, serving as the communication channel between production and finance. They will work closely with the VP of Operations, assisting in costing, communicating, and achieving the production business unit (BU) objectives.

An overview of your responsibilities:

• Establish a cost budget, by production stage and product type.
• Implement a continuous forecasting system (monthly, rolling 12 months) with improvement proposals and arbitrations to continue meeting budget objectives;
• Collaborate as a team with the Canadian Site Controller and the Director, Financial Control;
• Work closely with operations to ensure accurate and timely capture of all production costs and effective analysis of production variances.
• Ensure proper cost accounting in the system in alignment with the production process and in the correct accounting period, including inventory management;
• Train stakeholders in the production process on the proper use of the system to ensure accurate cost representation in the financial statements;
• Maintain data integrity in the various systems used;
• Assist the construction team in project tracking while ensuring accounting compliance with current standards;
• Implement a product costing system in alignment with the North American team;
• Monitor production costs, set up alerts to enable proactive reactions to any observed deviations;

What you'll need, among other things!

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in a large company is an asset
• University degree in accounting; Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants / CPA designation
• Demonstrate leadership and the ability to work as part of a team
• Exhibit a data and automation-oriented management style and vision
• Create an environment of continuous improvement
• Ability to maintain good relationships with teams and motivate colleagues
• Ability to understand the company's objectives and translate them into priorities
• Participation in company or project startups (an asset)
