Barstool Sports is seeking a talented Editor for the Spittin’ Chiclets brand, in a full time role. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and creative editor with podcast production experience, and thrives in a fast paced work environment. This person must be proficient in project and media management, montages, multicamera editing, technical troubleshooting, color correction, audio mixing, and file/export formatting within Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Candidates must be able to work on-site in our New York City headquarters, flexible with travel, open to working nights and weekends, and provide a reel or portfolio of work.


What You’ll Do

  • Produce and Edit podcast segments/episodes/clips
  • Optimize show performance across Barstool’s multiple platforms
  • Develop sharp and interesting story angles that align with the Barstool audience
  • Coordinate with the Executive Producer on schedules, progress, and deadlines
  • Apply graphical elements, color correction, and audio mix to your edits
  • Collaborate with team members on show segments, storylines, and deliverables
  • Maintain a consistent and organized workflow to ensure proper deadline delivery
  • Manage the timeline of your projects from inception to delivery
  • Elevate your shows through creative editing and sound design


What You Have

  • 5+ years of production and editing experience
  • Detailed knowledge of social media, sports, pop culture, and current events
  • Creative editing and sound design experience
  • Advanced proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to succeed in a fast paced, around the clock work environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality content production


Salary Range: $75,000- $80,000
