What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?
Writing a couple of news/features per day, about shows and movies and genres of shows/movies in client, writing about what to watch and how to watch, lists of best movies, easter eggs and past lists, driven heavily by what people are searching for. Sports will be included especially NFL, and possible other sports avenues. They should anticipate to be working in a flexible environment where they may write anything from Star Trek to the NFL.
What are the TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered?
At least 2 years of professional daily entertainment news writing experience at an established/accredited or well-known media outlet or media company (Other streaming services, or entertainment news outlets such as Entertainment Weekly; Prefer experience with working for the Brand as opposed to covering for the news, however both will considered)
Proven experience crafting effective, polished articles that require very little editing
Experience writing to SEO guidelines
Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to produce content that is consistent with the various voices of our brands
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Strong storytelling ability through text and images.

Sports writing is nice to have - Meaningful experience writing daily entertainment and/or sports news (especially NFL football, college football and international soccer)

This is not a role about celebrity news, this is about the content of shows/movies, not about celebrities and their personalities, the pure focus is about the show/movie titles and not necessarily about the stars involved.
Highly Skilled writing, and good editing/grammar/spelling skills are absolute must.

Work closely with SEO team every step of the way — pitching, assigning and updating content
Use SEO best practices and tools, such as MarketMuse, to optimize articles
Bring a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for our movies and shows (Paramount+, CBS, Star Trek universe, etc.) directly to fans
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm new ideas
Analyze performance metrics to gauge the success of content and make recommendations for future projects
Stay up to date with the latest trends in entertainment and sports news, streaming media
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through execution
Manage content production timelines effectively using project management tools like Asana
