Post Producer

Our global, CPG client based in NYC is seeking a skilled Post Producer for stills to join their team for an ongoing freelance assignment. As the Post Producer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the visual excellence for digital and print campaigns, ensuring that projects are executed flawlessly within a specified timeline and budget. Must have prior experience working with stills preferably in the fashion, luxury or beauty industries. This is a ongoing freelance role, hybrid in NYC (in office 3 days a week Tues.-Thurs.), 40-hours weekly. Must have personal computer.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain excellent communication with internal clients from start to finish.
• Understand and interpret the client’s initial brief.
• Estimate a timeline for projects from kickoff to release.
• Brief projects to the postproduction vendors.
• Oversee project pipelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• QC rounds/feedback making sure nothing is missed and all feedback is clear.
• QC finished work to ensure it matches the original brief.
• Track assets/projects using our internal Notion database.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and offer solutions.
• Billing and reconciling invoices.
• Occasional on-set retouching support.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of post producer experience within an agency, brand or inhouse creative or marketing environment.
• Must have prior experience working with stills / retouchers / photo editors preferably in the fashion, luxury or beauty industries.
• Knowledge of the Adobe suite (Expert knowledge of Photoshop) and Capture One is essential.
• Experience in print production and color management.
• Must be highly organized and timeline driven.
• High attention to detail is a must.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Availability to work a hybrid schedule (Tues-Thurs.) weekly.
• Must have your own computer to work from.
