Prepress Manager - Rules Based Automation Expert

Job Description: We are seeking a PrePress Manager with expert knowledge of Prinergy, Enfocus Switch and a strong background in workflow rules-based automation. In this role, you will manage all prepress operations, ensuring that press-ready files and plates are produced efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include overseeing proofing, plating, digital, and wide format printing processes, integrating software solutions to streamline operations, and maintaining high standards of quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the prepress department, preparing files for printing and managing the plating process.
• Automate workflows to support digital and wide-format printing departments.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless operations and uphold customer satisfaction.
• Research and recommend new technologies and software to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain rigorous quality assurance, ensuring all printed materials meet our high standards.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in managing prepress operations, particularly in a commercial printing environment.
• Proficiency in Prinergy, Enfocus Switch, and rules-based automation.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, and color management systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in printing technology or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
