Our preschool is now seeking a wonderfully passionate and motivated Assistant Teacher who enjoys and has experience with 2-3 year old's. This position starts at $15/hour. In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.
Skills/Requirements
Must have a High School diploma or GED; and at least one (1) year of experience working in a child care facility.
Must have the 40-45 hours DCF Childcare Licensing training (Part 1, Part 2, and Early Literacy for Children Age Birth Through Three) and must have passed the exams.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Two (2) or more years of experience working with infants through pre-kindergarten in a child care facility.
Advanced training in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and/or Child Development.
