What does an ERA Business Consultant do?



An ERA Consultant is a client facing leader who gets trained to combine industry expertise with core consulting skills, such as problem solving, analytics and the ability to interface with multiple personality types. As a member of the ERA Network, you partner with other consultants to deliver long-term strategic cost reduction solutions. As an ERA Consultant, you will be helping businesses reduce overhead expenses, alongside industry specialists.



Not only is ERA’s value proposition “additional cash through savings” very attractive for any type of client, but it is also delivered through a contingency based model. The client only pays for the cost savings solution, if ERA can show actual additional cash flow. The additional cash flow is then split between the client and the ERA Consultant – a highly attractive business approach for client and consultant!



Responsibilities of the ERA Consultant:



  • Follow a proven system to identify and deliver cost reduction projects
  • Collaborate with Cost Category Specialists to ensure successful completion of projects
  • Use provided analysis to draw conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations
  • Prospect for clients following ERA specific programs and systems
  • Build long-term client relationships
  • Apply networking skills taught by ERA Corporate
  • Manage clients throughout the whole cost reduction process
  • Work as an independent Consultant within the given structures and processes
  • Access a variety of internal programs to successfully manage your pipeline independently



Minimum Qualifications:



Minimum 15 years of professional relevant experience.


  • Sales, Consulting, Business Development, Finance
  • Comfortable talking and supporting senior-level executives
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Interest in cost reduction
  • Proven Track Record
  • Relationship focused
  • Independent work style, ability to manage your own time
  • You will need to be prepared to make an initial investment as this is a franchising opportunity.
