Rapid7 is seeking a highly skilled, effective and experienced Principal Program Manager to join the M&A Integration & Strategic Programs team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing strategic programs that are associated with business partnerships, acquisitions, and/or strategic initiatives that drive business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The Principal Program Manager - Strategic Initiatives, will collaborate with teams cross-functionally to execute & implement strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and ensure program(s) meet their goals & definitions of success.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership & key stakeholders to define program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Execute strategic programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement program plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and actively help resolve issues.
  • Communicate program status, milestones, and key insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Apply a consulting mindset to drive continuous improvement & enhance program management effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the program team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal groups, other Moose, and external parties, in support of achieving program success.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field; or commensurate experience.
  • Proven experience in strategic program management, including evaluation, planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at multiple levels of an organization, for example, from experience presenting to & engaging with C-Suite Executives, as well as getting into the details of a spreadsheet with Business Analysts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Google Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
