Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an P/E Associate to join our Growth Equity team in San Francisco. The role will be evaluating, executing, and managing venture capital and growth investments with an emphasis in technology. The position will be based in San Francisco or New York.

As an ideal candidate, you have experience in venture and/or growth investing, passion and domain expertise in technology, and a demonstrated commitment to building a long-term career as an investor.

As an Associate, you will play a pivotal role on our investment team, contributing to the identification, evaluation, and management of investment opportunities. You will work closely with team members to conduct thorough due diligence, analyze financial data, and help drive investment decisions. You will also be deeply involved in working with our portfolio companies, by participating in critical value creation initiatives. 

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of the growth investing landscape with a focus on tech and tech enabled businesses
• Apply expertise to develop and execute on an investment opportunity pipeline and manage portfolio of investments
• Exercise strong investment acumen and judgment
• Development of models and documents and lead presentation and review with internal stakeholders
• Contribute materially to team culture
• Drive enterprise-wide impact

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in either investment banking, private/growth equity, venture capital, or consulting, etc)
• Demonstrated ability to work well in teams, leading when appropriate, and commitment to fostering an inclusive culture
• Superior interpersonal and relationship skills
• Passion for the venture/growth equity innovation ecosystem and interest in tech investments
• Clear and proven communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
• Excellent research, modeling, and analytical skills
