Title: Process Engineer

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana(LA)

Duration: 12 months / Full-time

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 year’s

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an onsite Process Engineer in a chemical plant environment.
  • Design and deliver engineering packages for industrial plants.
  • Define project scope with customers, coordinate with offshore teams, and manage engineering deliverables.
  • Gather inputs from customers, vendors, and construction teams for design and technical evaluation.
  • Participate in design reviews and approvals with customers and construction teams.
  • Support construction and start-up activities as needed.

Skills Required

  • Experience in process engineering for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, etc.).
  • Knowledge of PFD, P&ID, mass/energy balances, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals (heat transfer, fluid mechanics, etc.).
  • Ability to specify and design process plant equipment, including pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks.
  • Experience in safety devices and process safety management.
  • Familiarity with MS Office; AutoCAD and hydraulic software (AFT Fathom/Arrow) are a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb stairs, stand for 2+ hours, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, diverse team environment.
