Job Description

We're seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This role reports to the Director of Sourcing & Procurement and will drive strategic direction within IT, Indirect, and Direct categories across our enterprise. The ideal candidate will align procurement strategies with business objectives, optimize performance, efficiency, and value, and lead transformative projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with senior business partners to understand priorities, strategies, and challenges, ensuring alignment on end-to-end category strategies.

Serve as a trusted advisor and business leader by leveraging category expertise to earn respect and drive business outcomes.

Develop strategies that support business needs, enhance efficiencies, and deliver outstanding performance, including contract negotiation and supplier management.

Stay current with industry best practices and technology trends to set world-class standards in procurement.

Lead the development of Procure to Pay processes and procurement systems, supporting operational excellence and effective communication.

Drive continuous improvement of the supply base, focusing on performance management and process enhancement.

Manage business and financial issues, including budget oversight, contract management, and relationship development to meet business needs.

Conduct supplier reviews focused on performance, opportunities, and innovation.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of relevant experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or similar roles.

Proven track record in leading transformational change and developing collaborative relationships.

Strong negotiation skills with a history of delivering value and results.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.

Ability to navigate and thrive in a complex, matrix organization.
