Job Description

FOX News Media is looking for a Producer for a multi-vertical news program. As Producer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the show's daily content. The Producer has strong editorial skills and a wide range of interests from news and politics to pop culture and everything else in between.

a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

• Pitch and produce strong original content (unique guests, stories, shoots & segments)
• Conduct in-depth research
• Write stories, guest intros, teases, banners, and questions
• Select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to help tell a story
• Help develop Associate Producers by providing insight/advice/feedback on their segments
• Additional responsibilities based on your unique talents/abilities
  
  

What You Will Need

• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• 2-4 years of prior television (or similar) experience
• Solid understanding of international news coverage preferred
• Excellent editorial and writing skills
• Ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
• Attention to detail, an aptitude for working under tight deadlines, and effectively handling multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong interest and knowledge of current events, politics, and pop culture

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $75,000.00-105,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
