We are seeking a Producer to join our Outsourcing team. You will work closely with our Lead Outsource Producer and Outsourcing Art Director. You will facilitate communication between development teams and external partners and resolve roadblocks not only when they come to your attention, but before they become a reality. We are seeking a Producer to join our Outsourcing team. You will work closely with our Lead Outsource Producer and Outsourcing Art Director. You will facilitate communication between development teams and external partners and resolve roadblocks not only when they come to your attention, but before they become a reality. Responsibilities
- Assist Outsourcing Art Director and Lead Outsource Producer with coordination and communication between development team and external partners
- Take ownership of several categories of external development and work with internal department leads to complete goals
- Take notes during meetings such as department syncs, asset and/or map reviews, and content kickoffs, ensuring that information is broadcast and followed up on
- Update and manage sheets for tracking assets, vendors, and upcoming asset needs
- Assist in preparing art briefs
- Take initiative to identify problems, establish facts, and propose solutions
- Balance day to day maintenance with long-term planning; need to recognize that production is not all about fighting fires - especially in Outsource
- Create and maintain Confluence and other documentation related to Outsourcing
- Create and update JIRA tasks for external vendor work and internal work relating to outsourced assets
- Establish additional tracking practices within Jira to expose ongoing external work to internal stakeholders
- 3+ years experience in the games industry
- Experience with scheduling tools (eg. Jira) and coordinating a project schedule
- Possess a general understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies developing games
- Experience in risk analysis and mitigation
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies
- Excellent project management, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all individuals; stays calm and focused under pressure
- Capable of prioritization; able to manage several important items at once, and escalate challenges when needed, without allowing anything to be lost in the process
- Excellent people skills including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally as a representative of the studio
- Experience working with remote studios, contractors, or in a distributed work environment
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Familiarity with Source Control such as P4
- Experience managing a project budget
- Strong passion for playing games
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as assigned by senior management
- Quick learner, able to pick up new tools and technologies
