Product Manager - IV for a Contract position with a client located remotely and is ideally looking for File transfer, IBM Products: Sterling Integrator, iCAP- Internet Content Adaptation Protocol and IBM Control Center

Job Description

Global File Services-Engineering group which manages the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company to transfer files internally and externally. The file transfer's main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Enhancement of the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company with the addition of file scanning capabilities
  • Lead the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems
  • Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems
  • Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating coding, testing, change implementation and documentation

IBM Product Experience Required

  • Engineering expertise of IBM Connect: Direct (standalone) and Sterling File Gateway suite (Sterling Integrator/Secure Proxy, SES, CM)
  • Focus on the integration between the Sterling Secure Proxy component and separate instances of Connect: Direct environments
  • Product upgrades/patches/configs/security (key, certificate, vulnerability management)
  • File scanning (iCAP)
  • Shell scripting - automated processes
  • Understanding of networking requirements (load balancer/DNS/firewalls, etc.)
  • Engineering expertise of IBM Control Center
