Product Manager - Residential Roofing

Position Summary: Responsible for development and management of the comprehensive product life cycle for Roofing Underlayments with a primary focus on but not limited to roofing membrane systems and associated products.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and manages new product development initiatives as well as approves updates on existing product line for US market.
• Identifies new product needs based on market research/trends and manages product development, from creation to launch, using the Stage-Gate process, while working cross-functionally with other departments.
• Determines, creates, and approves new export product development as well as approves updates on existing product lines for Canadian and Caribbean Sales.
• Manages and executes strategic key project goals
• Creates and approves promotional initiatives guidelines for the Marketing department to develop customer targeted promotions, videos, literature, etc.
• Supports Product Manager – Private Label product development initiatives for Private Label/Co-brands of Roofing Underlayment technologies.
• Partners with Sales to evaluate opportunities and develop initiatives to grow sales within the current product offering.
• Creates and delivers regular reporting of company data to industry groups such as SPRI/ARMA, etc.; develops recurring reporting of new product sales and market share internally.
• Leads and approves all maintenance and creation of Product Data Sheets for product line.
• Creates presentations and delivers product information at trade shows, technical forums, internal and Senior Management teams, as necessary.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Prior experience in the roofing and/or building products industry, at least 5+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of experience presenting and interfacing directly with cross-functional teams, Senior Leadership, and external customers.
• Minimum 5 years of experience of leading projects, following solid project management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• This position will be located in Deerfield Beach, FL and we are only accepting candidates local to the area or willing to relocate to the Deerfield Beach area at this time. Relocation will be provided. Must be able to travel 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Roofing Underlayments and technologies.
• Experience running projects through Stage-Gate.
• MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Enterprise Software Systems, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Sales Force Power BI
