We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and strategically-minded Product Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will serve as a critical link between Product, Sales, and Marketing and help ensure that we deliver the right solution to the right audience with the right message at the right time.

- Are a go-to source for creating compelling go-to-market planning and materials
- Like crafting campaigns that make prospects and customers want to learn more about our solutions (Hubspot expertise is a plus but not essential)
- Excel at translating complex topics or data into approachable and easy-to-digest messaging

Expectations for Success
- Develop and promote product marketing resources including case studies, guides, research articles, webinars, white papers, and videos, to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products
- Plan and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns utilizing content, email, web, social media, and ads to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions
- Maintain and expand competitive intelligence, including monitoring the market place, creation of battle cards, and research of related verticals
- Facilitate cross-departmental trainings to ensure messaging consistency and discipline
- Foster collaboration between Product Marketing and regional technical teams and analysts to identify and distribute use cases and messaging across Ookla's global teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and sales teams to assist with successful product and feature launches
- Manage social media channels, create content calendars, and monitor performance metrics to optimize results
- Provide ongoing support to keep product collateral and sales enablement resources up-to-date
- Support as necessary additional initiatives driven by the Product Marketing team

- 2-3+ years experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Excellent business writing skills with experience crafting compelling messaging for technical products
- Familiarity with product marketing principles, techniques, and best practices
- Experience managing social media content across platforms
- Experience building out product marketing campaigns
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and strategies
- Experience working in B2B marketing not required, but a plus
- Experience in the internet or telecommunications industry not required, but a plus
- Hubspot expertise is a bonus but not essential
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems not required, but a plus
- Successful completion of a background check

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Ookla provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000 /year up to $80,000/year.
