Product Owner
Title: Product Owner with Trading Experience
Locations: New York City, NY Onsite
Duration: Fulltime
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential areas of growth. Use this information to drive product innovation and differentiation.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to gather and prioritize product requirements. Clearly articulate and document product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure that all requirements are aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
Product Development: Lead the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization. Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features. Provide clear guidance and support to the team throughout the development lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, such as customers, internal teams, and executives, to gather feedback, validate product decisions, and communicate product updates. Act as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries and provide regular status updates on product performance.
Product Launch and Adoption: Coordinate product launches, ensuring effective communication and coordination across different teams. Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and marketing collateral. Monitor product adoption, collect user feedback, and make iterative improvements based on user insights.
Product Performance Analysis: Define and track key product metrics to evaluate the success and effectiveness of product features. Analyze data, conduct A/B testing, and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Use these insights to make data-driven decisions and prioritize future product enhancements.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product plans.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with product management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in product management.
- Certification in product management (e.g., CSPO - Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
