Overview
The Product Photographer/Photo Editor will work to capture the beauty of our fragrances, haircare, skincare, makeup and a wide variety of products we sell that will be highlighted on our website and advertising channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses professional expertise and skill to capture professional, high-quality images; assignments may include product photography, still lifes, product shots, location-based shooting, etc.
- Selects and uses appropriate photographic and video equipment.
- Ensure proper organization, file naming, and archiving of product image catalog.
- Enhances the appearance of subjects with natural or artificial light.
- Uses photo editing software and applications to edit, crop, and enhance photographs.
- Ensures equipment is in proper working order and supplies are stocked.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Manage photoshoot schedule and calendar, communicating all requirements, deliverables, and needs to stakeholders.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to achieve technical excellence.
- Custom lighting experience, knowing how to set up lighting for shoots.
- Self-motivated
- Expert knowledge in photography, lighting, and photo editing
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or other related software used for retouching and enhancing images.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Portfolio of prior work required.
- Knowledge in videography and video editing is preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in photography or a closely related field highly preferred.
- At least two years of related experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk or workstation and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- May be required to kneel, squat, or stand for extended periods to capture images.
