The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrates the value of a product technology to advance customers objectives
Provides insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products
Analyzes and applies industry, competition and market knowledge to present the positive value of our solutions.
Recommends product and service configurations to assist with any system design and integration necessary
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
0-2 years experience required.
Key Points and Necessary Attributes:
event/trade show/training support
Become a technical resource on the company Digital Display Solutions, as well as other Digital Signage solutions to North America sales teams and partners.
Provide pre-sales technical supports for the North America sales subsidiaries, system integrators and/or end customers with company Solutions
Support company subsidiaries, System Integrators with model selections, specifications, and product questions
Support System Integrators and End Customers with general setup and use case of software and service solutions which include company VXT, Lynk Cloud, and Tizen platform (SSSP)
Provide tier 1 pre-sales technical supports related to LCD Signage, LED, Monitors, Hospitality TV, Solutions, and Pro Services in North America
Provide timely proactive pre-sales technical supports to:
Company Sales Teams
North America Business Development Managers
Liaise with key industry partners in Digital Signage market place and provide proactive market intelligence to PMs and SMEs
Attend and support company and/or partner events
Frequent domestic travel required
Candidate must be willing to work beyond normal schedule in conjunction with company supports and deployments in North America.
Technical background and interest in IT, IP networks, Digital Signage and/or Display industry
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
