The Fashion Data Entry (Production Assistant) is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the day to day Pre-Production/ Production procedures for both current and new items within the assigned classification, under the direction of the Production Manager.
The Fashion Data Entry (Production Assistant) partners with the internal departments of Design, Sourcing, Sales and Production to ensure timely execution of the Production Calendar. He or she assists in the managing of the Pre-Production lifecycle from Bulk Order placement to Delivery.
**This position is onsite 4 days/week (Monday through Thursday), remote on Fridays.
Major Responsibilities
Communicates with customers and suppliers on fabric, trim, and samples under the direction of the Production Manager and Sales Teams.
Performs daily tracking and execution of key tasks according to the T&A Calendar
Requests, follows up and ships all Photo Samples.
PLM maintenance (Style and Fabric).
Requests, Tracks and Logs all packaging and Labeling details in the PLM.
Updating care instructions on PLM.
Confirms all Care Labels with Factory.
Requests, tracks and logs testing reports and results.
Data entry using Lawson M3 (creating Styles, issue POs).
Maintains the WIP report for all styles, customers, deliveries.
Follows up on Photo shoot images.
Maintaining GXS, Nu Order SKUs, creating Drop Ship order upload forms and all Image uploads.
Assists on requesting Costing from Factories.
Follows up and processes all Trim Cards from the factories.
Responds to daily e-mail and phone communication within the same day.
Participate in Daily Cross functional team meetings with Sales, Product Development, Technical and Design reviewing and resolving current T&A related activity or issues.
Follow up with Vendors/ Factories on all styles and communicates any changes or additional details as needed.
Required Education & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree required. (Textile or Fashion Degree preferred)
Proficient in Excel. The ability to create files, maintain data in the files, create formulas, and formatting. Knowledge of V-look up and creating pivot tables is helpful.
Working knowledge and experience using a PLM system.
Adjust to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
Prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.

Experience
Garment or textile industry experience a plus
Prefer college graduate or college experience.
Will accept similar work experience in the garment/textile or other industry in lieu of college degree.
