POSITION: Production Associate
CLASSIFICATION : Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Compliance Manager
Position Summary
Reporting to the Roastery Compliance Manager, the Production Associate will support Equator’s operations by fulfilling orders accurately and timely. A successful candidate has a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, proactive, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoys physical work.
Compensation
The physical tasks described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The Roastery is not a climate-controlled environment. It will be hot in the Summer and cold in the Winter.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and read. This position is active and requires standing (or being on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time), walking, bending, stooping, climbing (ladders), and crouching throughout the shift. Lifting product and packaging above the head. The employee must frequently lift or move items weighing 25 - 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Finger & wrist dexterity.

- Work as part of a fast-paced team to fulfill wholesale and retail orders accurately and efficiently
- Learn to use and successfully operate the weigh and fill machines, band sealers, scales, grinders, label applicators, and label printers.
- Learn the operation of the Entrada E2 Portion Pack machine.
- Restocking inventory.
- Communicate with team members on a regular basis to ensure accurate fulfillment and production
- Cleaning & organization of work areas and basic equipment maintenance.
- Show initiative, present a positive & professional attitude, be adaptable, and a willingness to learn and take direction
- Follow direction
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse work
- Coffee knowledge is a plus
