Production Associate

Our client, a renowned Retail Brand, is seeking a Production Associate to help support their staff in Miami, FL!

Qualifications

· Fabric and garment knowledge

· Experience in a SKU-intensive environment

· Strong Excel skills

· Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with critical attention to detail

· Confident with excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Motivated to work in a high-energy environment at the speed of fashion with ever-changing priorities

· Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments, vendors, and overseas offices

· Experience with overseas factories and direct manufacturing

Responsibilities

Reporting and Analysis

· Create and manage WIP reports for development tracking and garment delivery

· Prepare Buy Charts for monthly Buy Meetings with Sales and Design teams

· Prepare and provide status reports

Vendor Communication:

· Drive daily development processes through vendor communication

· Proactively highlight development issues and discuss solutions with the team

· Communicate approvals to vendors within required timeframes

· Work with suppliers to negotiate costs and secure raw materials

Sample Management

· Log and track all incoming samples including PPS, TOP, and additional marketing samples

· Assist with special request samples

Production Management

· Manage pre-production and production stages of the product

· Prepare costings and maintain cost-logs

· Order SMS (salesman samples)

· Issue POs (Purchase Orders)

· Review and approve care labels/bulk submits; responsible for archiving bulk submits for future reference

· Request, organize, and review all testing and QC reports, flagging any production issues

· Adhere to T&A deadlines

Product Development

· Partner with the Design team for product development approvals

· Track internal development milestones and SMS deadline dates
