About You

The person we are looking for prepares and analyzes data and applies quality tools and procedures to solve problems and to improve processes and products continuously. Responsible for day-to-day operations related to continuous improvement for all product operations.Works daily to ensure assigned areas of responsibility are working at risk lowered to ALARA specifically to achieve ZERO HARM. This position is scheduled during our second shift production, (2:45 pm- 1 am, Monday-Thursday with a possible shift as needed on Friday 12:45 pm-9 pm).Oracle manufacturing specialist for the facility. Reviews plant yield and scheduled utilization performance and provides remedies for improvement to meet and exceed plant goals. Analyzes production reports to ensure all machine speeds are accurate. Manages environmental training and compliance programs.

Position Snapshot

A Production Coordinator is commonly expected to know the following and to be successful in this role you will:

  • Assists in all areas of Oracle Manufacturing as the Oracle specialist for the facility
  • Troubleshoots/traces cause variances, whether caused by production or system, which may occur. Communicates errors or production issues to Plant GM, supervisors, and/or IS
  • Monitors Oracle data related to Rod, WIP, and Finished Goods inventories as well as all work centers to ensure information is timely and correct.
  • Assures data integrity
  • Review production reports ensuring all machines are being run as scheduled and at correct speeds.
  • Schedules and coordinates inventory cycle counts and evaluates results.
  • Participates in physical inventories as scheduled and ensures they are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversees job closure process.
  • Suggests, and coordinates tracking, and improvements related to inventory
  • Interacts with production supervisors to efficiently meet production goals

Requirements and Education:

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. A minimum of 3 years' work related and supervisory management experience is required
  • Indirectly supervises work of (1-3) production supervisors and plant scheduler. Indirectly supervises 20+ production machine operators
  • Indirectly supervises all employees in the production/support (QA, Maintenance) units of the facility in regard to special projects. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, checking, and directing work; rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; maintaining quality standards and carrying out established policies. Nurture the ZERO HARM culture
  • The education requirements and experience requirements listed here indicate the minimum basic educational knowledge and the time required by a normal qualified person to perform the job duties of the position
  • Professional, technical, or administrative training; knowledge of a specialized or technical field or knowledge of manufacturing methods and techniques. Degree preferred
