Our client is a global leader in specialty grade products used in multiple different industries, including food, pharmaceutical, and industrial. They are in search of a Production Engineer to add to their team at their plant in the greater Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate can work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization as well as independently. This engineer will have the opportunity to further develop a technical path in their career.
As a Production Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop, evaluate, and support designated production units
Daily troubleshooting and firefighting
Ensure safety and efficiency of employees and processes
Identify areas for process improvements
Track production progress and keep database up-to-date
Salary Range: $75,000 - $93,000

As a Production Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
BS in Chemical Engineering
2+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience with a technical background (prefer out of chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals)
GMP experience is a plus
Experience with solids handling
Knowledge of P&IDs and flow diagrams
