Our gear is designed by players, for players Who We Are Looking For: We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site role in South Hackensack, NJ for a Operations and Production Manager. In this role in the sports apparel industry, you will be involve overseeing various aspects of the production and operation process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with this role: Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Scheduling : You are responsible for planning production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Supply Chain Management : This involves coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and managing inventory levels to prevent stock outs or overstock situations.
• Quality Control : Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that products meet established quality standards. This may involve conducting inspections, implementing quality assurance measures, and addressing any issues related to product quality.
• Process Improvement : Continuously identifying areas for process improvement and implementing strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Team Management : Supervising and leading a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Health and Safety Compliance : Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace to maintain a safe working environment for employees.
• Logistics and Distribution : Overseeing the logistics and distribution process, including packaging, warehousing, and transportation of finished goods to customers or retail locations.
• Budgeting and Cost Control : Developing and managing budgets for production operations and implementing cost control measures to optimize spending.
• Communication and Collaboration : Collaborating with other departments such as design, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment of production activities with overall business goals. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels is essential.
• Environmental Sustainability : Implementing initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of production processes, such as implementing sustainable sourcing practices or reducing waste generation.
• Compliance and Regulation : Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards related to product safety, labor practices, and environmental sustainability Qualifications -- A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, operations management, or a related field is required. Candidates with a master's degree is a plus. -- Strong analytical skills to analyze data, make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency. -- Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, quality control processes, or manufacturing processes is necessary. -- You will need to have an understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that operations adhere to legal standards. -- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing staff -- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills -- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
