Extract and analyze data from our ERP and other systems to create current and forecasted needs; review historical data to set part parameter; establish production standards for work center scheduling.
Create, update, and maintain schedules for multiple departments
Create jobs and priorities based on the current and projected needs of the company
Analyze inventory levels across multiple phases of manufacturing to understand priority needs and job sizes
Communicate scheduling conflicts with management throughout the production process
Direct and assist the Production Control Coordinators and Material Handlers with production priorities.
Utilize Epicor to track the status of current jobs and update the production team with any discrepancies during the production process
Requirements
Minimum 2yrs manufacturing planning experience in an MRP supported environment.
Some college and CPIM or other relevant certification preferred.
A background in logistics, inventory control, or purchasing is beneficial.
Self-starter and comfortable working in a team or independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities sometimes fluctuate.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including strong Excel experience)
Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and organizational skillsAbility to quickly learn new computer software
