Position Overview:
The Production/Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the production processes with our manufacturers and managing the purchasing of raw materials/finish goods. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials, optimizing production schedules, and maintaining efficient inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in supply chain management and production monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the procurement process, from purchase orders to delivery
· Create and distribute purchase orders as needed to support demand needs.
· Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies as needed.
· Resolve procurement-related issues, disputes, and discrepancies in a timely
· Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, PD and logistics, to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.
· Maintain PO’s, BOMs, Inventory Receipts, and Inventory Assembly builds in ERP System (NetSuite)
· Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
· Oversee and track production planning with our manufacturers.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
· Proven experience in a similar or equivalent role with at least 4-7 years.
· Self-starter; Proactive mind-set; Excellent communication skills
