InfraHire is looking for a Production Supervisor in York, SC.
Job Description
Oversees production staff by scheduling machine and order runs, planning and assigning tasks, reporting on production, and managing raw material inventory.
Responsibilities
Strive to enhance productivity across all areas, balancing quality, efficiency, cost, safety, and morale to achieve optimal results.
Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs and waste.
Directly responsible for employee training, coaching, and, when necessary, discipline.
Implement and monitor performance tracking metrics to identify losses using Continuous Improvement models.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures in collaboration with the General Manager and production staff, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Work closely with the General Manager on all matters related to production and staffing.
Qualifications
Must have at least two years of experience in the paper or packaging industry.
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred but candidates with less than a high school education and 1 to 3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will also be considered.
