Our client is a premier global law firm in Washington, DC! They are looking to hire a Professional Development Coordinator for their office, offering hybrid flexibility!


Job Responsibilities

  • Support the firm's mentoring and integration programs, including the Rise Onboarding Platform for associates and counsel.
  • Conduct market research on talent development topics such as compensation, integration techniques, wellbeing, and mentoring; provide recommendations as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Talent & Inclusion team and other departments to enhance learning processes and systems.
  • Manage the Training and Events calendar and email inbox.
  • Serve as the point of contact for professional development resources for attorneys and staff.
  • Assist with the logistical needs of the Learning and Professional Development Director and Chief Talent & Inclusion Officer.
  • Provide administrative support and logistics for training programs.
  • Collaborate with the CLE Manager on maintaining the firm’s learning management system and troubleshooting new features.
  • Work on special department or firm projects as required.
  • Maintain department databases (e.g., UKGPro, ViGlobal, LinkedIn Learning).


Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent client service skills for internal and external contacts.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite; advanced Excel functions.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.


Experience

  • At least three years of related experience in a law firm or similar professional services environment.
