About The Role:
Gen3 seeks a talented Program Manager to play a key role in supporting program management for our federal client.
What You'll Do:
Manage designated program tasks from initiation through completion
Develop detailed task plans including schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and metrics
Coordinate with various departments to ensure task alignment with overall program goals
Monitor task progress and performance, oversee scope and schedule management, and take corrective actions
Manage and guide task team members, fostering collaboration and communication
Escalate issues and risks to senior management and support mitigation efforts
Prepare regular task updates and detailed progress reports
Ensure tasks comply with all regulatory standards and requirements
What You'll Need:
5+ years of program/project management experience, preferably in government contracts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
Proficiency in using project management software tools
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Bachelor’s degree required in a related field like Business or IT
PMP or CAPM certification is a plus
What's Desired to Have:
Previous experience supporting federal or state government agencies, especially federal financial agencies i.e. IRS or Treasury, is highly desired
Work pending contract award
