It operates in the Climate segment that delivers energy efficient products and energy services. The company offers the client and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning which provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and commercial and residential building services, parts, support, and controls; energy services and building automation.

Job Description

This Change Manager will:

  • Focus on the people side of change, understanding the change impacts of new business processes, systems and technology
  • Guide project teams through our standard work, amending and customizing solutions as needed
  • Work across highly matrixed teams of business leaders and IT professionals to provide guidance, develop change management strategies, schedule tactics and implement action plans to ensure employee adoption and usage of the new tools
  • Coach senior leaders and executives to help them fulfill the role of change sponsor
  • Increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of program goals

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by major IT initiatives
  • Design, develop, and write program-related communications to be delivered to all stakeholders
  • Identify key stakeholders and conduct impact analyses
  • Support training efforts by helping refine the training strategy, gather document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Assess change management effectiveness as the program evolves
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach project teams and leaders
  • Create actionable deliverables for the communications plan and training plan
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists within the company and on adjacent teams and roles
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Help manage stakeholders
  • Define and measure adoption success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Contribute to toolkits and other change management resources

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven success as a change manager for large-scale IT initiatives within a large corporation
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Strong team building and relationship building skills
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity for ownership and perseverance
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Change management certification or designation is a requirement
