Our Home is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented controls and automation engineer to join our team. As a controls and automation engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable control systems that optimize production and minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls and automation engineering, with expertise in PLC programming, HMI optimization, robotics, SCADA systems, and other relevant technologies. You should have a solid understanding of industrial control systems, process automation, and electrical systems. Additionally, you should be familiar with industry standards and regulations related to controls and automation and have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience in food manufacturing is definitely a plus.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement control systems and automation solutions for manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and requirements for control systems
Perform system integration and testing to ensure proper functionality and reliability
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime
Optimize control systems for maximum efficiency and production output
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in controls and automation technology
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in controls and automation engineering in a manufacturing environment (Food Manufacturing a plus)
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
Experience with MES and SCADA systems and industrial networks
AutoCAD experience a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for controls and automation
Ability to travel up to 75%
