Project Accountant

Our client is seeking a Project Accountant for an onsite position in Orlando, FL.
Qualifications & Preferred Attributes:
• 3 + years' experience in accounting, inventory accounting, or cost accounting - Required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise - Required
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software - Preferred
• 1+ years' experience in a construction project environment, equipment maintenance or manufacturing environment - Preferred
• 1+ year experience in inventory control processes - Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting - Preferred 
Responsibilities:
• Mainly responsible for assisting and supporting the project team by reconciling and maintaining complete and accurate project accounting records
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to project stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, vendors, the project team, and management
• Produce monthly financial reporting for the project (P&L, A/R, Cycle Count, etc.)
• Coordinate with the project's operational leadership in tracking and accounting for the spare parts inventory (from procurement through disbursement/allocation to the asset)
• Review inventory internal controls, making recommendations as needed for process improvements
