Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is experienced in creating architectural plans, designs, technical details, documents and administers construction in luxury residential, boutique commercial and interior building projects.

• Works with clients to develop client project scope and programming.
• Manages client communications including meetings, correspondence and documentation.
• Conducts zoning research and studies, building code analysis and assists with municipal approvals.
• Creates conceptual design, massing studies, and site studies.
• Designs for accessibility and sustainable solutions.
• Develops Schematic Design package (including Site Plan, Floor Plans, Elevations).
• Conducts product research and specifications.
• Creates interior design development (interior elevations, interior details, millwork and similar).
• Develops Contract Documents package (including Site Plan, Floor Plans, Building Sections, Elevations, Architectural & Interior Details, General Notes, Written Specifications, and Bidding Documents).
• Coordinates with various engineers, and other consultants (e.g., Civil, Structural, Landscape, Lighting Design, Millwork and Cabinetry and similar).
• Participates in project bid reviews, and value engineering.
• Manages Contract Administration including review of submissions, answer project RFI’s, job site meetings, documentation, and correspondence.
• Takes initiative in continued learning, improving processes and systems and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Requirements

• Architectural Design experience using software: AutoCAD, 3d rendering skills, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 3 years technical and project management experience.
• Professional degree in Architecture (either Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Architecture license preferred.

About Us

Since our firm's inception we have designed hundreds of commercial, residential, and institutional projects, from new construction to rehabilitation and additions. We have a very diverse clientele ranging from homeowners to business owners to tenants to facility managers. We have three areas of expertise, Residential, Preservation/Rehabilitation, and Commercial/Institutional (financial, religious and transportation).

You will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and technical abilities.
