Responsibilities also include overseeing prototype assembly and testing, as well as collaborating with suppliers for necessary information and support.
Responsibilities
- Leading projects to ensure timely, cost-effective product launches that meet specified performance criteria.
- Designing and developing new products and enhancements within the ware washing sector.
- Organizing and executing tests on ware washing equipment and components to assess potential performance improvements.
- Using data collection tools and various sensors to verify compliance with agency standards.
- Analyzing test results against design goals and creating action plans to meet performance targets.
- Coordinating product design alterations that impact manufacturing methods, collaborating with teams for effective implementation.
- Willingness to work during non-standard hours and overtime when required.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities tailored to various audiences
- Skill in establishing objectives and assessing progress towards them
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor
- Understanding of casting, sheet metal, sealing, plumbing, and pumping systems
- Familiarity with electrical control systems for motors and heaters
- Knowledge of process flow
- Experience with ERP systems
- Adherence to established protocols
- Strong time management capabilities
- Flexibility to adapt work hours and environments as needed
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in design engineering
- $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience
- 5% bonus
- Must be local and eligible without sponsorship.
