Job Summary: Synergy Enterprises, Inc., a minority, and woman-owned government contractor located in North Bethesda, MD, currently has an opportunity for a highly efficient, detail-focused Project Coordinator. The selected candidate will provide support for a variety of government contracts – focused on Native American education programs in K-12 and higher education.
Job Description:
The OIE (Office of Indian Education) TA team is seeking a project coordinator to track deliverables, coordinate meeting schedules, manage email lists, initiate draft documents and reports, maintain calendars and project timelines, and provide general virtual support across tasks as requested
For this position, the ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail and superb organizational skills
Communicate and take direction from the Project Director and Deputy Project Director, as well as identify gaps that need to be filled
Work seamlessly with project staff and must be able to manage multiple tasks and assignments with competing deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more.
Able to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rewarding environment where independent work, creative thinking, and solution-proposing is necessary
While this position is remote, the ability to work in Eastern Time Zone is preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on efficiency, attention to detail, and quality
Able to track deadlines of large volumes of work
Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
Self-starter with an interest in creating efficiency in processes and developing new ways to make rote tasks easier
Proficient use of SharePoint and Microsoft Office Products (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel) is required; comfortable with data
Knowledge of Monday.com or ability to rapidly learn Monday.com is highly desired
Ability to work well in matrixed organization, confidently and proactively communicating competing priorities to multiple managers while maintaining open communication about tasks
An interest in K-12 education, higher education, grant management, Native American education programs, and outreach is a plus
