Hays is working with one of the industries finest civil general contractors in New York City. This is one of the few employee owned contractors in the New York City Area. They pay for 90% of their employees medical/dental/vision, have a 401k plan, and are paying a range of $70,000 to $100,000 base salary dependent on experience. They are looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team. They work on the premier infrastructure projects in New York City and have a clear path for advancement in your career.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
  • Responsible for RFIs, change orders. budgets, schedules, and submittals.
  • Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues.
  • Work directly with the Project Manager and attend meetings with them.
  • Help with morning safety meetings and communicate with the subcontractors.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Construction Related Degree.
  • 1 - 3 years' of experience with civil construction projects as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer.
  • Preferred experience with Bluebeam, Procore, HCSS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel throughout the New York City Area.
