Description
The Project Engineer will support the assigned Sr. Program Manager to maintain customer timelines and internal ERP related milestone timing events. Also, you will be required to acquire and disseminate all program related data in order to support the activities of the program and clearly convey the requirements of documentation to our customer base and internal organization. The described Project Engineer role is specifically designed to lead into a Program or Sr. Program Manager role within this company residing below the Director of Program Management distinction. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the design buyoff related activities for multiple projects.
Preparation of customer related documentation required at the design buyoff event such as formal buyoff documents/sign off sheets and pdf photo depictions of the tools for easy markup changes.
Review with internal design engineering team all required design buyoff math representations to include assembly environment 3d/2d, station layouts and tool design for general appearance and accuracy prior to the event.
Support the operations during the build and assembly process to ensure key milestones are met.
Assist tracking of purchased parts to ensure key milestones are met.
Review the Invio “Release for Build” event documentation to include all protocol and documentation required items are present and accounted for prior to release of tool.
Support tracking of customer product used for design, internal trials and the eventual buyoff event.
Manage action registers or open issues tracking documents as specified by Program Manager as requested by the customer.
Support the customer tool buyoffs utilizing Invio’s standard procedures.
Administer the documentation efforts during buyoff events
Create and manage customer punch lists to ensure corrective actions and engineering changes are complete prior to shipping.
Coordinate all tool shipment activities post punch list approval.
Coordinate all tool kit updates sent to the customer facility.
Demonstrate professionalism in all activities and provide efficient service to internal and external customers
Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities within the Value Stream

EDUCATION
Prefer a minimum of Associates degree from an accredited institution in the field of engineering, manufacturing, or other technical related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role.
This position requires some proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and Gmail/MS Outlook email software.
Additional preference given to candidates with experience or education in the use of native solid modeling software such as NX, Solidworks, Catia, Creo and ACAD. This requires the ability to maneuver within the described modeling software to acquire dimensions, validate accuracy, appearance and recover screen representations of tools to be used for documentation purposes.
