Project Engineer

Are you a Project Engineer with 1+ year(s) of Civil construction experience?

Our client is one of Kansas leading Civil construction GCs and boast a project portfolio that includes clients within a big variety of civil construction.

Responsibilities:

• Stationed onsite
• Collect Submittals from Subcontractors
• Prepare submittal register
• Review submittals and RFIs. Process and send to architect. Review after return from architect. Distribute to appropriate subcontractors. Prepare submittal and RFI log information for OAC meetings.
• Update drawings with all changes electronically (RFIs, submittals, RFPs, addenda, etc.)/Link drawings using BlueBeam.
• Collect Closeout Documents
• Prepare Closeout Manual
• Schedule owner training
• Assist in collecting pricing from subcontractors as needed
• Schedule various project meetings (e.g. preconstruction meetings)

Expectations:

• 1+ year of experience working for a commercial general contractor
• Bachelors Degree in Construction/Engineering or related field
