Project Executive
THE POSITION:
My Client is seeking a Project Executive With extensive data centre experience. The project executive is in charge of overall project status reporting and client communications. Creating and following the timetable, budget, and quality control plan. When necessary, works in conjunction with sub contractors and the client to ensure the project is completed successfully. Along with managing risk and insurances, the person also oversees overall team progress and work performance in relation to the project plan by working closely and communicating with the owner and other project team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of each member of the project team, including the field office coordinator, superintendents, project managers, and project engineers. Project teams may consist of 10 to 50 employees.
- Managing accounts and upholding customer relations: developing connections to guarantee that the division is based on recurring business.
- Oversees the project's overall bidding strategy and the procurement process, helping to create the bidder's list as needed; creates front-end bid materials and job scopes in accordance with contractual criteria and project needs; arranges and carries out meetings prior to bids; accepts, assesses, and helps with post-bid examinations of bids.
- Working with subcontractors and leading proposals/presentations.
- Negotiate terms of contracts with clients.
- Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
- Lead $200M+ hyperscale data centres from cradle to grave.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities demonstrated by a solid understanding of relevant legal and contract provisions.
- Minimum 3 years' data centre construction experience.
- Batchelors Degree in construction management, engineering or a related field.
- Ability to travel to construction sites as frequently as required.
- Capable in facilitating productive project meetings with clients, consultants, and staff members; has previous experience giving presentations for clients or projects.
