Job Description

  • Project Leadership: Direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing strategic direction and ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project financial performance, ensuring profitability, cost control, and accurate forecasting.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold company standards for construction quality, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations, proposals, and fostering new client relationships.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Champion innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of construction contracts, legal issues, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam).
