Project Manager

We're seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage various initiatives within the Operations team. These projects encompass client enhancements, internal capability development, and marketing efforts. You'll play a key role in capturing business needs from different lines of business (LOBs) and translating them into clear technical requirements for the IT team. By collaborating closely with IT, you'll ensure we develop the most effective solutions to address these needs. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial brainstorming and discovery all the way to securing final approval of requirements. Additionally, you'll oversee enterprise-wide project management activities, including maintaining issue logs, updating the weekly Operations Status deck, and managing other ongoing projects. As CorServ strives to meet evolving client and market demands, this role is crucial for efficiently managing complex projects and business requirements. Your expertise will help drive innovation and enhance CorServ's capabilities and solutions.



Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and initiatives within the greater Operations team utilizing appropriate tools and communication methods.
  • Work closely with Marketing team to manage projects and initiatives with a sharp focus on milestones and timelines to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with Manager to Project Manage new client implementations and to uncover and implement efficiencies.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and decompose high level information into details.
  • Elicit business requirements by collaborating with business partners to fully document the business need and work with IT to finalize the most feasible approach.
  • Building relationships with a cross-functional group of senior and executive stakeholders within the LOB and IT.
  • Work with design and engineering teams to enhance the deliverables from the value stream.
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and be able to collaborate with multiple levels of the organization
  • Support product testing activities prior to a release, assuring features were built according to agreed features and capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital payments technology.
  • Credit Card industry and/or Consulting and/or Consumer/Business Banking Experience.
  • Familiarity with the latest industry technologies, trends, standards, and products.
  • Strong problem solving and analytics skills to be able to develop technology solutions that solve business problems quickly.
  • Strong project management skills working with many workstreams and teams that involve projects in the system development lifecycle and card payment lifecycle.


Education


Bachelor’s Degree required (or 5+ years credit card industry and strong project management experience)


Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must have strong business intelligence skills and technical comprehension.
  • Ability to work across departmental boundaries to complete tasks.
  • Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and solid decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or direction.
  • Strong ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or related certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a high degree of independence.
  • Ability to create deliverables of high quality that are clear to the client/end user.
  • Ability to identify gaps and roadblocks in requirements and processes and work with others to close and resolve.
  • Ability to formulate problems/issues and setup goals/agendas to position discussions and meetings for successful outcomes.
  • Ability to identify repetitive processes within the Operations team, client management, and project management and streamline to reduce waste.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Fiserv (FDR) or other issuing credit card processing system experience.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
  • Experience with Monday.
  • Customer service and/or call center experience.
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt/Green Belt
  • Working knowledge of databases with the ability to query and analyze data.
